Life Equals Review
I strongly believe that you do NOT need supplements to be healthy. However, I travel a lot for work, and sometimes when you’re flying all day, you simply don’t have as many nutrient rich food options. Airports are becoming much better at providing better snacks on the go though! Yay! So why am I talking about traveling and supplements? I’ve found another one that I really like.
I first heard of Life Equals in 2016 at a yoga event that I went to in Kansas City. After the yoga there was some shopping and some treats to snack on, one of the items they provided for us were the Life Equals Superfood Shots. I was a little skeptical, and I had no idea what to expect, but figured it was worth trying. It was free after all.
So the original Balance Superfood Shot has a very distinct flavor. When I first tried it, I wasn’t quite ready for it. It’s kind of sour tasting, but it’s not bad at all. Now that I’ve had them, I actually really like them. The Turmeric Superfood Shot is also quite tasty. It’s got a little bit of spice with ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper, but it’s definitely not spicy in a bad way. If you love ginger you will definitely love this shot. Somehow I always think that it kind of tastes like tomato juice, which is weird, because there isn’t tomato juice in it. They both just reminds me of that a little. So what is in it….keep reading.

P.S. The Balance Superfood shots are 2 fluid ounces, so they are small enough to throw a few in your liquids bag if you are only going to carry-on a suitcase when you travel!
I’ve also been trying out the company’s Women’s Multivitamin. You’ve seen me take other brands of vitamins so why am I trying this one? Well, for one, they sent me a bottle. After some research I decided to add them into my daily routine. Here’s what I like about them:
- They don’t upset my stomach
- There are digestive enzymes in the multivitamin, so you’re not taking multiple things
- They are manufactured in the USA
What I really like about this company is their commitment to providing real, whole ingredients in their products. They also have a commitment to giving back to the community. It’s also pretty cool that they are local to Kansas City. While they did send me some items a while ago to try them. I actually purchased more products myself, the Superfood shots and the women’s multivitamin because I liked them so much! I would recommend them if you find yourself lacking in a balanced diet every now and then, but like I mentioned earlier, supplements aren’t necessary and getting your nutrients from real, whole foods when you can, is always the way to go!
