Colorfulkoala Women’s Yoga Shorts

I may have found THE perfect shorts. I’m not joking. If you read my review of the Colorfulkoala leggings (you can find it HERE), you’ll know that I’m a big fan. Well their shorts did not disappoint. I liked them so much I bought a second pair.

Here are the deets of the Colorfulkoala Women’s Yoga Shorts, as listed on Amazon:

  • 75% Polyester, 25% Spandex
  • Crafted from a brushed, buttery soft and stretch fabric for delivering you the naked sensation and the unrestricted movement
  • Side pockets allow you to store your personal items when you’re on the go
  • Seamless waistband sits at the natural waist and feels light as air
  • Turn your gear inside out when washing. Wash separately, air dry or tumble dry low
  • 6″ inseam

Colorfulkoala Steel Blue Shorts

I purchased these shorts in both the Steel Blue and the Deep Violet colors. I wore the Steel Blue shorts for a 5k in a triathlon, and I didn’t really notice them showing sweat at all. Although, if that’s something you’re worried about, I’d stick with the darker colors.

I love the high waistband on these shorts. I mean, who doesn’t love high wasted (anything) these days! It hits at a really great spot on me, not too high, but high enough. I ordered in a size small, and they fit me perfectly. The pocket isn’t huge, so if you have the iPhone Plus or whatever it’s called, don’t expect it to fit in the pocket. However, if you just have a normal phone for 2019, you will be fine.

The fabric is the same amazingly soft fabric that you’ll find on the leggings that I love, and it really reminds me of the Ptula Alainah leggings. If you’re wearing nude underwear, or none, they are squat proof if you buy the correct size.

The 6″ inseam length is in my opinion perfect. They are long enough to stay put while you’re running, jumping, lifting, etc, but short enough to still look cute if you’re not going for the “bike shorts” look that is in these days.

Overall I love these shorts and think of “compression” or “bike” shorts, these are the best I’ve found so far. The quality for the price, did I mention they are only $20, is amazing. They also had free returns, so if you’re unsure of sizes, there’s really no risk. I say these are a win!

2020 UPDATE: So I’ve had these shorts for two seasons, while I stand by everything I said in the original post, really the front seam just has to go! Now that I’ve worn some really great shorts without a front seam, I simply prefer shorts without them. These don’t ride up terribly, but if your squatting and jumping it’s JUST enough to be annoying. I do still think they are a great pair of shorts for price, they just aren’t my favorite anymore!
