December Favorites
Is there really something new to love every month? I tend to use the same things over and over, but here are some new things that I’ve been loving in December!
Dr. Lipp Miracle Balm – I got this in a Birchbox a long time ago and loved it so much that I bought the full size. It’s the best for using overnight, you wake up and your lips are nice and moisturized!
Knockaround Sunglasses – I love these sunglasses because I can throw them in my purse when I travel and not worry about them. I have really sensitive eyes, so I always like to have sunglasses. My friends have even made fun of me for wearing them at night at a baseball game..hey, those lights are bright! I have some nice sunglasses, but when you can buy a pair of polarized sunglasses for $15…it’s quite nice. Plus they have a ton of fun styles and colors!
Nike Tennis shoes – if you’ve seen this post, this post, or this post, you’ll know I’m totally obsessed with these shoes. I mean, how freakin cute? I found them because I was at a local running shop and they had “water resistant” Nike running shoes. I was online trying to find out what they were when I saw Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35 GPX in this fabulous floral print. I knew right then and there that I needed them, but I waited a couple days and bought them at Dick’s Sporting Goods with a discount code! They had them in stock at my local store, so I picked them up after work. I hadn’t worn Nike shoes in years, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they are actually really comfortable.
Sorel Lolla Boots – like the Nike tennis shoes, I saw a pair of boots while I was out with my friend and they looked sooo cute. However, they didn’t have them in stock in my size at all, so being the resourceful girl that I am, I immediately hoped on Zappos, found them, ordered them, and had them shipped to my mom’s house so they would be there when I arrived for Thanksgiving. Yep, that’s the type of person you’re dealing with here! Seriously though, I love Sorel, they have amazing quality, and their boots are quite comfortable. I have worn this particular pair so many times since I got them. I wear them with jeans for a casual look and I’ll even wear them with dresses to work. They are really versatile. I want them in every color…but I shall refrain!
