5 Reasons I Love Knockaround Sunglasses (and why I became an Ambassador)
Sunglasses for me, are a non-negotiable, they must go with me everywhere. If I’m outside, 99% of the time I’m wearing sunglasses. It’s not necessarily because I want to, but I HAVE to. My eyes are light blue and are SO SENSITIVE to light that it literally hurts to even think about it.
Let me tell you about how I came to acquire my first pair of Knockaround Sunglasses…back in the day I used to get the “PopSugar Must Have Box.” Essentially it was one of the first subscription boxes that came to your house every quarter and had a bunch of random stuff in it. Well one of my boxes had a pair of Knockaround Sunglasses. I tried them on, and I loved how lightweight they were. I eventually did a little google-ing, and found all of their other sunglasses. Price: I was really impressed with the quality of the sunglasses for the price. $25 for polarized sunglasses, at a time when most companies were charging upwards of $50. Non-polarized options will run you $20. If you’re someone that likes stylish glasses, but you tend to lose them, or “knock” them around (haha) the price is great. I personally like that I can knock them around and wear them ALL the time, and not feel like I’m breaking the bank when they inevitably get throw across the pavement or something.
Quality: Like I said, for the price the quality of the sunglasses is really great. My original pair of sunglasses is still going strong, albeit they are pretty scratched up from crashing into concrete one too many times.
Customer service: Customer service is something that I personally really value. I will gladly pay a little more money to have a better customer experience. There have only been two times that I’ve had to contact customer service, and they have been prompt and very helpful both times.
Style: With over 16 different styles to choose from, including kids, ski googles, and blue-light blockers, you’re sure to find a pair that you love! Plus their special releases and custom section lets you choose your style, color, pattern, etc. What could be more fun than designing your own glasses? I personally love the Mai Tais for everyday wear, but I’m really loving the Mary Janes these days too!
Comfort: I’m someone that if sunglasses are too heavy or are uncomfortable, I’m going to notice. It’s probably because I end up wearing them for so long. I better be able to last a 6.5 hour car drive without my ears starting to hurt. I’ve never had problems with my Knockarounds!
