P’tula Activewear Review

If you’ve never heard of P’tula, it stands for Passion to Unite and live Active. Their slogan is:

Activewear for the errand running, gym kicking, schedule dominating, individual who needs clothing that can keep up, look great, and feel even better.

I first heard of P’tula from HopeScope in one of her Youtube reviews. P’tula is pretty much an Instagram brand with kind of a cult following. A lot of people compare the P’tula Alainah leggings to Lululemon Align pants. While they are not the same, I do think they are great quality.

Here are the items I’ve purchased:

I purchased the Desa’ree II Swift Legging in July and then the Sariya and Alainah II Allure leggings with their latest launch in September. These leggings are a really great quality for the price. The Desa’ree II Swift legging has a sleek smooth finish to the legging where the Alainah II Allure legging has a brushed finish. Brushed finishes are the super soft finish like the Aligns. The Desa’ree II Swift leggings were great but not 100% squat proof, both colors I’ve tried in the Alainah II Allure legging were squat proof. All of the leggings are high-waisted and a 7/8 length (although they now have the Alainah II Allure leggings in a 3/4 cropped version too).

The Alainah leggings do show sweat, but not too terribly. The Desa’ree Swift leggings do not show sweat at all. Plus they are just SO pretty!

The Sariya sports bra is the same brushed material as the Alainah II Allure leggings. It has removable cup pads, and really fun crisscross back. The colors they came out with in the summer launch all look amazing together, and I know they have even more amazing pieces coming! All in all I think the brand has some really amazing quality projects, and the prices are great for what you are getting!
