5 Instant Pot Recipes You Need in Your Life

If you haven’t seen me mention my love for the Instant Pot, you’re not paying attention. It’s so amazing, at making certain things. THIS is the specific model that I have. Here are my top 5 Instant Pot recipes that everyone should have in their pocket to make meal prep for the week so much easier. Some of them are basic knowledge everyone should know, some are just amazing recipes. The thing about the Instant Pot isn’t necessarily that EVERYTHING can cook faster (most things can), but that it’s just so easy. I press a button and it goes, there’s very little work required. On the weekends I’ve been known to steam broccoli, make hard-boiled eggs, cook rice, and then cook beans in about an hour and a half. That’s amazing people!

Protein Instant Pot Mac & Cheese by Fit Foodie Finds – I have made this recipe at least 5 times. It’s SO EASY and it’s really delicious. I’ve shared the recipe with friends and they have thoroughly enjoyed this mac and cheese as well.

Instant Pot Southwestern Chicken and Rice by Meaningful Eats – You all have seen me make this recipe time and time again, and every time I make it I get asked for the recipe. There’s a reason for this, it’s just that good. The best part is, I randomly stumbled across it one day shortly after I got my Instant Pot, and I’ve never looked back. It quickly became one of my favorite recipes. Everyone I give the recipe to loves it as well. It’s awesome to throw everything into one pot and cook. It’s awesome because you have way less to clean up (that’s what I’m talking about),

Perfect Soft and Hard Boiled Eggs by Skinny Taste – I wouldn’t say that cooking hard-boiled eggs in the Instant Pot is that much faster than the traditional method on the stove top, but for me it’s way more consistent. I can honestly say that I’ve never eaten a soft-boiled egg, but hey, I guess people do.

Steamed Broccoli by Melanie Cooks – Broccoli is one of those veggies that turns to mush if it is overcooked. No one likes that. This isn’t the original recipe I found, but it’s the same. Zero minutes on the Instant Pot is all you need to cook it perfectly. I usually leave my broccoli in a little bit bigger florets and stick it into the fridge instead of into and ice bath.

Instant Pot Yogurt by A Mindful Mom – I actually enjoy Greek yogurt, and could even eat it plain if I so desired. It can get expensive though, and honestly it tastes better when it’s homemade. It’s so easy to make it too, it just takes some time. Most of the time you don’t have to do anything, there are a few steps though to ensure you end up with delicious yogurt.

These are some of my staple recipes I use all the time. What are your favorite Instant Pot recipes?
